After meeting a woman online and setting up an appointment to meet, he was furious when she canceled and took off on the train, probably going to kill her.

According to the investigators, a femicide was foiled with the arrest of a man of Romanian nationality residing in Misano Adriatico, in the Rimini area.

Last Saturday he set off to reach Modena, the city where a compatriot had told him they would meet but then, after she became suspicious of the aggressive attitudes, she had decided to cancel everything. The arrested person didn't resign and started threatening her with death, even sending her a video in which she brandished a knife.

During the train ride, while on the phone, he told someone about his intentions and a boy who knows Romanian understood everything and alerted the police. When the man arrived at his destination he was blocked by the railway police: with him he had a large kitchen knife and another pointing and cutting tool.

The investigating judge validated the arrest for attempted murder by placing the man in prison.
