Another femicide , another man who then attempted to take his own life . After the tragedy of the last few hours in Rufina, in the Florence area, where a man stabbed his partner to death and threw himself from the second floor , being seriously injured, a new tragedy in Venaria Reale, in the Turin area , where a 51-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her 57-year-old disabled husband.

The man then allegedly attempted to kill himself by ingesting drugs. Rescued, he was taken to the Maria Vittoria hospital in Turin.

The femicide was discovered during the night . The alarm was raised by the man's sister , who was worried because she could no longer contact him. When the carabinieri entered the house with the help of the firefighters, they discovered the body of the fifty-one-year-old, lying in the bathroom, struck by several stab wounds to the back and chest.

The crime was apparently committed at the height of an argument .
