He hears moans and opens the waste bin: there was a newborn baby in a plastic bag

He heard moans coming from the dumpster. This is how a 49-year-old worker noticed that there was a newborn baby among the rubbish.

The child, a boy, was among the rubbish in Villanova Canavese, in the province of Turin, in an alley not far from the centre . The passerby found it in a plastic bag, with the placenta and umbilical cord still attached.

On site   the health workers intervene immediately   of the 118 and the carabinieri who assisted the newborn and transported him to the Ciriè hospital. According to what we learn from investigative sources, the child is well.

The military personnel are investigating the matter: for the moment no obvious surveillance systems have been identified in the area.
