The body of a 55-year-old man who died of suffocation was found half-length in a manhole last night and his legs stretched out on the street.

A security guard gave the alarm and immediately called the State Police.
The victim is Salvatore Masia, he was originally from Sassari and it seems that he had lost something inside the manhole. Perhaps in the grip of alcohol, after removing the cast iron lid he started looking for something, getting stuck in the manhole and then suffocating due to the mud.
The body is at the disposal of the judicial authorities, the flying squad of the police investigates the case.
