Half a kilo of marijuana in the car, but "they found it in a field": acquitted
Three men avoid summary sentence. The defense argued that the drugs were for personal use

Acquitted in the abbreviated trial of all charges despite being caught in the car with over half a kilo of drugs.
The protagonists of the story, which began in 2020, are three men from Termini Imerese, in the province of Palermo.
The three - two 35-year-olds and a 37-year-old - were stopped by the carabinieri, who also searched their homes, finding another 130 grams of cannabis, in addition to the 600 grams found aboard the car they were travelling. In total, therefore, almost 800 grams of narcotic substance were seized.
However, the lawyers of the three suspects, Carmelo Genovese, Davide Aiosa and Fabio Sciascia, have always maintained the innocence of their clients, arguing that the drug was not processed and had been collected in a field for personal use.
