Group sexual violence: asked for six years for the Genoa player Portanova

A 6-year sentence has been requested for the footballer Manolo Portanova.
The Genoa midfielder is accused in the trial with abbreviated rite before the Siena investigating judge for group sexual assault against a 22-year-old girl. The same penalty is requested for the other young defendant who chose the abbreviated version. A third suspect chose instead to continue the preliminary hearing.
There is also a fourth suspect : he was a minor at the time of the disputed facts, the investigation was handled by the prosecutor's office for minors in Florence.
The facts date back to the night between 30 and 31 May 2021 . According to the allegations, Portanova and the young woman had secluded themselves in the room of an apartment in the historic center of Siena. Other people had arrived later, but when the 22-year-old objected, she would have suffered violence.
According to the version of the defense there was a relationship but it was consensual .
