Frightening accident this morning in Lanciano , in the province of Chieti , where a woman was hit on the pedestrian crossing together with her 1 year old grandson.
The little one, thrown from the stroller in which he was, is now hospitalized in the pediatric ward of the Pescara hospital where he arrived in red code for polytrauma .
The 62-year-old woman was crossing the pedestrian crossing at the intersection, with a roundabout, between via Masciangelo and via Sigismondi when a car driven by a 78-year-old arrived who, perhaps dazzled by the sun , did not see pedestrians. In the collision the stroller overturned and the baby ended up on the ground , protected by cushions.
