Garbagnate: attacks two passers-by with hammer blows

Two women were victims of an attack on the streets of Garbagnate Milanese.

Yesterday afternoon a 29-year-old resident of Legnano, with drug addiction problems, used a gavel (of those usually found on public transport for emergency situations) to hit a 28-year-old and a 38-year-old in Piazza Ambrogio Allievi.

The first was treated in the hospital, the second - reached in the head - was transported in red code to the Niguarda in Milan, but it would not be in serious condition.

The person in charge was stopped by the Rho carabinieri and subjected to checks by the health workers. He would have acted for no apparent reason .
