Four charred bodies found in a car

Four people were found charred in a car parked at a gas station along state road 106 in Amendolara, on the Ionian coast of the province of Cosenza.

According to initial reports, they were four migrants. Firefighters responded to the scene after receiving reports of a car on fire and discovered the bodies while extinguishing the blaze.

The Highway Police are operating on the scene, but investigators from the Cosenza Flying Squad, as well as the Carabinieri, are also responding. Initial indications suggest it was not an accident.
