Flowers, many and colorful, in front of the house of Madonna di Castenaso, in the province of Bologna, where the Pisanu live, a family upset by the death of Giulia and Alessia , the two sisters overwhelmed and killed by a train at the Riccione station.

The elder sister Stefania and her father Vittorio, originally from Senorbì, today met the mayor Carlo Gubellini: “He cannot understand what has happened - says the mayor - the discomfort and pain are immense. He can't accept what happened. Both he and Stefania are lucid and saddened. "The girls' mother also returned today from Romania, where she had moved for some time.

It was a constant coming and going of friends, all with tears in their eyes, all paying homage to the two victims, who were 17 and 15 years old. The date of the funeral has not yet been set, but in the town it will be city mourning.

Investigations and listening to testimonies continue. Giulia and Alessia a few minutes before the tragedy had phoned their father: “We are returning home”, they had said. From the story of a 24-year-old, who had seen his sisters in the disco, the eldest was outside the club, lying on the ground, tired but - according to him - not in a particularly altered state. Giulia herself had told him that she was particularly tried because she had worked all day before leaving with Alessia to go dancing in Riccione. On the way, from the disco to the station, it was Alessia, the youngest, who had borrowed her cell phone in order to make a phone call to her father. His was empty and his sister's purse and cell phone had been stolen.

They arrived at the station around 6.50 am while the impact with the ETR directed towards Milan and in transit at about 200 kilometers per hour would have occurred around 7 am. Ten minutes in which the two girls were noticed by at least five witnesses who they said they saw them: Giulia on the tracks and Alessia sitting on the ground on the quay and then getting off and joining her sister.

According to the driver, it seems that Giulia was on the tracks with her face and her gaze fixed on the train. The other witnesses at the station saw Alessia first sit on the platform and then go down on the platforms to move her sister. When he realized that he could not take her away with him, Alessia would have started to retrace his steps, but by now it was too late. The train whistled, but at that point it was impossible to avoid a terrible impact.

At the moment the investigation opened by the judiciary is model 45, a dossier that does not include news of crime, nor suspects. Toxicological tests on the remains of the two girls are also excluded for technical reasons. On the other hand, a DNA test is likely to fully ascertain the identity of the two sisters, given that the recognition yesterday by the father, who arrived in Rimini, accompanied by his brother, cannot be considered definitive.
