The companion of Floriana Floris, the woman of Sardinian origin stabbed to death in Incisa Scapaccino, in the province of Asti, has awakened from a pharmacological coma and confessed that he was the murderer.

Paolo Riccone, admitted to the "Cardinal Massaia" hospital after having attempted suicide, would have told everything to the carabinieri and the magistrate of Alessandria saying that he had acted "in the throes of a fit".

A statement which, precisely due to the psycho-physical conditions of man, is not currently considered fully reliable. Still very tried and confused, Riccone would not have been able to answer on the motive, reports the public defender, Federica Falco, of the Alessandria bar.

Last Friday, before being transported to the hospital, the suspect had given a completely different version , saying that he had found his partner dead, upon returning home, and that he had tried to commit suicide out of desperation. «Riccone's ability to understand and want at the time and now must be ascertained, therefore the reliability of the statements made - explains the lawyer Falco - He was awake, but always very confused, even on the simplest questions. I'll ask for a psychiatric report but the prosecutor could already do it ex officio. At the moment he remains planted in the hospital. Personally I don't know him, I know very little about him, but this remains, in any case, a very bad story».
