Another speed camera was knocked down last night in Veneto, it is the sixteenth. The methods are not those used by Fleximan, which cuts the base of the pole where the device is mounted with an electric saw. In this case the bolts were unscrewed to unbalance the appliance against the wall of a nearby building.

It could be one of Fleximan's many emulators, and in this case what is most controversial is the road where the speed camera was knocked down. In Santo Stefano di Cadore, in the Belluno area, on the same road where on 6 July the car driven by Angelica Hutter hit a Venetian family, killing three people , including a three-year-old child.

It is the second case in the Belluno area, after the pole bent with a hose on the descent of the Giau pass.

The president of Veneto Luca Zaia also expressed his opinion on the "Fleximan" case: «On the one hand there is an issue of legality, i.e. cutting a pylon, on the other it raises the issue of the immoderate and even barbaric use in many cases of 'Speed Cameras. If it is true that the speed camera must aim to protect road safety, in some cases we are unable to protect it and even more so when we see that the resources collected are not invested in traffic and safety".
