Fire in a children's community: a seriously burned 16-year-old boy dies
An operator of the facility was also injured
Tragic fire last night in a community for boys in Santa Caterina di Pasian di Prato, in the province of Udine.
A minor, of Albanian nationality, died. Two were injured, including a 16-year-old Ghanaian who was flown to the burn center in Verona. His conditions are serious.
The second injured is hospitalized with minor injuries at the Santa Maria della Misericordia hospital in Udine. It is an operator of the structure who would have suffered burns in various parts of the body.
The fire broke out around 2.30 for causes still being investigated by the Fire Brigade, alerted by the Regional Health Emergency Operations Structure (Sores).
The Carabinieri of the Compagnia di Udine and the Police of the Udine Police Headquarters also operate on site.
