Shortly before midnight Matteo, a truck driver with a passion for horses who is well known and respected in the town, died at the age of just 45 from a sudden illness. The man fell ill on his way home: he was on the stairs of the house and had time to call his mother Franca, who was waiting for him .

The 78-year-old woman alerted the 118 doctors: attempts to resuscitate the man were useless. A few hours later , 118 had to return to the same house, called by some family members of the 78-year-old. Nothing to do in this case either: Maria, who had two other children, had passed away in her sleep .
