Serious accident during a school trip to South Tyrol.

A 12-year-old German boy fell from the balcony of a hotel in San Giovanni in the Aurina valley.

The little boy was on a ski trip with his class. Yesterday, for reasons yet to be clarified, he fell from the balcony of his room on the second floor of the accommodation facility where they were staying.

The carabinieri, the White Cross and the Pelikan 2 air ambulance intervened on the spot, which transported the child to the Bolzano hospital, where he is hospitalized in very serious conditions.

An investigation has been launched to clarify the incident.
