On March 31, the day in which the state of emergency will probably not be extended, there will not be a free all. Health Minister Roberto Speranza underlined this: "With 60 thousand cases a day," he said, it would be "a mistake" to suddenly dismantle the entire set of rules set up to date.

From April onwards, therefore, we will continue to use the masks indoors and to access most of the public places with the obligation of a Green pass.

We must "keep our feet on the ground", warns the head of the Health Department, adopting the line of prudence, because "Covid does not take the plane and leaves on March 31". The Green pass "was and is a fundamental piece of our strategy" and "indoor masks are still important".

TOWARDS THE FOURTH DOSE - While Aifa gives the green light to the fourth dose to the approximately three million immunocompromised in Italy (after at least 120 days from the inoculation of the third), Speranza opens the door to a possible, further recall of the vaccine for all : “We will have to consider the recall for everyone after the summer. It is to be considered probable, because the virus - he reiterates again - does not shake hands and goes away forever ".

The extensive ISS report also certifies that vaccines are decisive: for the unvaccinated the hospitalization rate is 9 times higher than for those who have had the booster and the mortality rate is 19 times higher. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the vaccine in terms of risk reduction, between unvaccinated and tri-vaccinated, is 64% in preventing infection and 93% for severe disease.

THE CALENDAR - The first steps towards greater "normality" will be made on March 1 with the increase in capacity in stadiums and arenas (75% and 60%); from March 10 it will be possible to return to eating in cinemas and sports facilities and visit their hospitalized family members; finally, on June 15, the vaccination obligation for over 50s expires.

With respect to transport, on the other hand, one hypothesis is that on long-distance ones the "reinforced" remains necessary, while on local vehicles the base, already introduced also for travel to and from Sardinia and Sicily, may be enough.

Meanwhile, the color map of Italy, from Monday, will change again: the whole country will be yellow, except Umbria and Basilicata (white) and Friuli-Venezia Giulia (orange).
