The mayor of Benevento warns citizens: «Infections likely to increase in autumn»
«After the summer break, we are preparing for the resumption of school activities and for the arrival of the autumn season in which an increase in respiratory infections is foreseeable, including those from Covid ». The mayor of Benevento Clemente Mastella warned the citizens.
«In the first year in which this new virus has become endemic – continues the mayor – it will be important to protect the most fragile people , i.e. those who are older and those suffering from chronic pathologies, in particular respiratory ones».
«The fundamental measures remain vaccination and the use of personal protection means, i.e. masks. The use of masks must not scare us as a return to the past , but must be consciously used as a tool for protecting the most vulnerable", is Mastella's conclusion.
