A dispute between two neighbors degenerated on the last day of the year, resulting in a brawl involving two entire families in an apartment building: four people were injured and five were reported for aggravated brawling, including a minor.

It happened in Reggiolo, in the province of Reggio Emilia, yesterday morning. The police intervened. The argument and subsequent brawl involved on one side a 53-year-old and his two children, including a minor, who accused the 60-year-old neighbor of having been attacked and threatened with a gun (not found).

The latter together with his son were allegedly hit with a hammer by the other party, an object found in the garden and seized.

The 60-year-old and his son ended up in hospital in non-serious conditions due to head injuries and one of the 53-year-old's two children. All are charged with complicity in aggravated brawling.
