He fell ill while he was climbing the 40 steps that lead to the civic hall of the Municipality of Villanuova sul Clisi, in Bresciano , and died at the age of 13 on a school trip .

A dramatic episode that dates back to the morning of 11 April 2014 and for which the prosecutor yesterday asked 8 months for the teacher who was responsible for Alessio Quaini, the deceased boy who was suffering from congenital heart disease.

According to the consultant of the prosecutor and also according to the doctors who were treating him and who had implanted a defibrillator, that effort , for the 13-year-old, would have been an insurmountable obstacle .

We will now have to wait until September 28 to find out if , according to the court, there are culpable responsibilities for Alessio's death.

The defense pointed out that Alessio's defibrillator was not examined , which could have revealed the arrhythmia with certainty or not. For the prosecutor , the teacher knew about the disease and shouldn't make the boy make that effort . The reply is that there was no medical certification brought to school and that only a few months earlier the boy had been to the Vittoriale , where there is no shortage of stairs. But always according to the prosecutor the teacher should have been vigilant .

The defense asked for acquittal because the fact does not exist.
