Bianchi: "There has never been so much money for school"

"There has never been so much money for school".

Word of the Minister of Education Patrizio Bianchi, who refers to the funds provided by the Pnrr.

Money that will be used to secure buildings, create more "laboratories and classrooms able to adapt to different needs" and to "allow children from all over the country to have the same opportunities to combat dispersion".

And there will also be more nursery schools.

There is talk of 17.59 billion to be spent in 5 years: “They will be used starting from the spaces - specifies the minister -, new schools and redevelopment of existing ones. The municipalities and provinces will do them with the support of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and the Agency for Cohesion. We have the opportunity to overcome the concept of classrooms, very long corridors and closed doors to focus on laboratories, gyms and canteens ”.

The first calls, for 5 billion, will start in November.
