Tragedy in the Pisan area, in Pontasserchio, where a 54-year-old farmer died, practically beheaded by the blades of a threshing machine.

The man's body was found yesterday evening, but the accident most likely happened earlier.

On the spot the fire brigade, who freed the body trapped in the machinery, and the carabinieri who set to work to reconstruct the dynamics of the tragedy.

The farmer, according to an initial reconstruction, crouched down to check if the machine had a breakdown or in any case another problem that prevented its correct functioning. And that's when it got sucked into the big thresher blades.

His body had deep wounds especially in the upper part, and he was substantially beheaded.

Emanuele Zanin, 46, and Jagdeep Singh, 42, lost their lives at the Humanitas University of Pieve Emanuele, in the Milanese area, while loading a tank of liquid nitrogen.
