It would have been an anaphylactic shock to kill Salvatore Ruggeri, the 59-year-old who died in Letojanni, in the Messina area, after being attacked by a swarm of bees and hornets on his way to work.

From what was rebuilt, he would have opened a cottage inside which there were insects that attacked him focusing on the face and head .

The man was taken to hospital, but the doctors were unable to save him.

The autopsy has been ordered and will be performed at the Messina Polyclinic.
