Attacked by a rottweiler while he was walking on a bike with his mother in the Bevagna area , a five-year-old boy is now hospitalized in Foligno hospital with the prognosis reserved.

This was reported by the police who are carrying out investigations.

The episode occurred late on Saturday evening.

According to the police's reconstruction, the animal, after having climbed over the fence where it was kept, pounced on the child, biting him in several parts of the body. The immediate intervention of some neighbors, attracted by the mother's screams, allowed the dog to be removed.

The child's life was not in danger.
