No way, that little flame of hope that was lit in South America has gone out.

The DNA tests on the Argentine girl who it was hoped could be Angela Celentano , the three-year-old girl who disappeared on August 10, 1996 during a family outing on Monte Faito in Vico Equense (Naples) are negative .

This was announced by Luigi Ferrandino, the girl's family lawyer: " Unfortunately, in the comparison between the DNA of the Celentanos and that of the young woman under consideration, there is no genetic match ", says the professional, who coordinates a team of consultants made up of the lawyer Enrica Visconti, by General Luciano Garofano and by the social team of the "Manisco World", chaired by Virginia Adamo.

The family does not stop hoping: "We will continue our research and any other report worthy of further investigation will be investigated", said Catello Celentano, Angela's father who, with his wife Maria and daughter Rossana and Naomi thanks "those who contributed in the reports . We don't stop hoping to be able to hug our beloved daughter again . For the moment we believe we will remain silent and ask for respect".

The girl had been identified precisely by the law firm that follows the Celentano family.

The elements that had given hope that an almost 27-year-long mystery could be solved were different: the personal data of the Argentine girl, corresponding to those of Angela Celentano, a great physiognomic resemblance and a stain on the back equal to that of the missing child.
