This morning, DJ Alessandro Basciano, 35, showed up at the Central Police Station in Milan, where he was given an electronic bracelet.

The former contestant of Big Brother VIP is accused of stalking his ex-partner Sophie Codegoni and is subject to a ban on approaching her which became definitive on April 30th .

Basciano failed to show up for the first appointment scheduled for August 6th, thus risking the measure being transformed into house arrest . Today he provided his personal details and address, a residence in the Porta Venezia area of Milan.

The authorities informed the DJ that the electronic device also monitors any movements abroad and reports any attempted tampering , a circumstance that could lead not only to house arrest but also to prison arrest, if the Prosecutor's Office deems it necessary.

The case stems from the Supreme Court's confirmation last April that Basciano was prohibited from coming within 500 meters of Codegoni and from communicating with her in any way.

The decision confirmed what was established by the Milan Review Court , at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, after the preliminary investigations judge Anna Magelli had released Basciano, arrested on 21 November 2024.

Despite the legal issues, the DJ, followed by over a million followers, continues to post content on social media from his travels between Spain, Greece and Mykonos .
