According to the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office, Alberto Genovese is being tried for two cases of sexual violence.

Prosecutors Rosaria Stagnaro and Paolo Filippini, who coordinate the investigation together with the adjunct Letizia Mannella, asked the web entrepreneur to answer for two rapes against two girls stunned with a mix of drugs: an 18-year-old made unconscious and abused for hours on 10 October last year in Milan at "Terrazza sentimento" and a 23-year-old stunned and raped on 10 July 2020 in Ibiza.

The request for trial also involves Genovese's ex-girlfriend, under investigation in competition for the alleged abuses that took place on the Spanish island.

Now the case passes to the gup Chiara Valori who will have to celebrate either the preliminary hearing or possibly the shortened trial. It is possible that Genovese's lawyers are looking for this second path which provides for a closed-door trial and the reduction of a third of the sentence in the event of a conviction.

Genovese, questioned last Friday after the closing of the investigation and the filing of the documents, reiterated that he had acted under the influence of drugs, to which he was a "slave" and that he had never perceived "particular dissent" from the young women who they were just as "altered". According to him, these were "extreme" relationships with the use of cocaine and ketamine, but consensual. Investigators don't think so.
