Accident in the mountains, two climbers die on the Gran Sasso

Dramatic accident on the Gran Sasso, as a result of which two people died.

At the pillars of Pizzo Intermesoli (Teramo) two men aged 55 and 42 living in Rome and Sansepolcro (Arezzo) lost their lives while they were climbing. Yesterday afternoon, contact with both of them had been lost and the family members tried to find them for hours .

Their cell phones were unreachable and the alarm went off already late in the evening. The car of one of the two victims was still parked in Prati di Tivo, while their bodies were at the bottom of a canal and were identified this morning.
