A three-story building collapsed in Torre del Greco, in the province of Naples.

The building is located in Corso Umberto 61, in the heart of the Vesuvian town, and was inhabited. Three people, none of them in danger of life, were pulled alive from the rubble.

The most serious conditions are those of a 19 year old , hospitalized with fractures in various parts of the body. Two people who were passing on the street at the time of the collapse, hit by some fragments, were also treated for minor injuries.

On site, the Carabinieri, the fire brigade and the Usar teams, the search and rescue specialists amidst the rubble. Traffic was blocked in a large perimeter around the collapse area.

According to the prefect of Naples, Claudio Palomba, there are no missing persons.
