Tragedy in Palma di Montechiaro, in the province of Agrigento.
For reasons under investigation, a fire broke out in a house in via San Giuseppe: a two-year-old girl, who slept on the first floor, was killed in the stake.
Except for the parents who were on the ground floor: they did everything to be able to go up to the floor and take the child away but the flames were now high and every attempt was useless.
On the spot, teams of firefighters and carabinieri who immediately started investigations to ascertain the causes of the fire.
The fire, from an initial assessment, would have been triggered by a short circuit.
