A 22-year-old woman on a scooter dies in a crash in Ceriale, Savona. A young man, aboard the car that hit her, records a video of the rescue operation and laughs: "She's dead."
The shocking footage was posted on social media after the crash that killed Sofia Barbieri, who will turn 23 in a few days, the daughter of Ceriale's social services councilor, Barbara De Stefano.
The accident occurred on the night between Friday, June 19th and Saturday, June 20th, on the Aurealia highway. Two women were riding a scooter when they collided with a Fiat 500, throwing them both to the ground. Sofia died shortly afterward at the Santa Corona Hospital in Pietra Ligura, the same hospital where her friend remains in serious condition.
