3-year-old girl falls into a drain and dies: tragedy in the countryside

Tragedy on the outskirts of Padua , in Ponte San Nicolò, where a 3-year-old girl fell into a drainage ditch and drowned .

According to the reconstruction of the carabinieri, who then intervened, the little girl was there with her father , a 39-year-old Cameroonian, and other compatriots having a picnic. Suddenly she walked away, unseen, falling into the canal .

Despite the immediate intervention of those present and the "118" medical staff, the little girl, taken to the emergency room of the pediatric hospital in Padua, died shortly afterwards.
