«Please, Donald Trump, I invite you to Ukraine, to Kiev. So if you can stop the war within 24 hours, I think that would be enough to come here.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an interview. Words that take inspiration from the declarations of the US tycoon running for his second term as US president, who last June said: «I would find an agreement in 24 hours. I would say one thing to Zelensky and one thing to Putin. I would make a deal very quickly and that would stop the destruction ."
Zelensky's invitation came during an interview with Channel 4 News, in response to a question about a possible invitation to Kiev by The Donald. Zelensky, in this regard, posed only one condition. That is, the halt, thanks to the mediation "powers" evoked by Trump, of the conflict with Moscow.
“Maybe Donald Trump has a real idea and can share it with me,” Zelensky added in the interview.
