Darya Dugina, daughter of the Russian ultranationalist philosopher Alexader Dugin "was killed at the hands of Ukraine".

American intelligence is convinced of this, as revealed by sources "informed of the facts" to the New York Times.

The woman was the victim of an attack last August : a murder organized by the government of Kiev and of which - the sources explain to the NYT - "they did not take part in the attack , neither providing information or other forms of assistance".

On the contrary: the US services would not have been aware of the operation and would have opposed it if they had been consulted.

Sources in the US newspaper did not disclose which elements of the Ukrainian government were behind the murder of Dugina or whether President Voldymyr Zelensky was aware. Furthermore, some believe that the real target of the attack was the father, a sort of ideologue of the aggressive and imperialist politics of the Kremlin , who for months has been urging Moscow to intensify its war against Ukraine.

For its part, questioned by the New York Times itself, Zelensky's adviser, Mykhailo Podolyak , reiterated that the government of Kiev is not involved in the death of Dugina.

"In times of war - explained Podolyak - every murder must have a meaning, satisfy a specific purpose, tactical or strategic. Dugina was neither a tactical nor a strategic target for Ukraine".
