The British government will eliminate the Green pass later this month, the British media write.

The certification requirement, introduced a month ago and valid only for entrances to discos and mass events, should be abolished on January 26, the day on which the London government will review the Covid measures envisaged by the so-called plan B contrast to the Omicron variant.

The Minister of Health, Sajid Javid, shared a strong impatience with the certificate already expressed by many Conservative MPs, in particular the hundred who had voted against its introduction in the House of Commons (which was approved only thanks to the votes of the opposition Labor).

It is also thought of abandoning the indication to smart working, another measure envisaged by plan B.

So there would be only the obligation of masks for indoors, since outdoors in Great Britain has never been compulsory.

An easing that comes in light of the "encouraging signs" listed yesterday by Minister Javid: infections are decreasing, even hospitalizations are down with the wave unleashed by the Omicron variant which according to several scientists has reached its peak and started its descent.
