According to the latest non-definitive data, there are about a hundred deaths caused by typhoon Rai passing through the Philippines. It is the most powerful that has hit the country this year.

Over 300 thousand people have fled from houses and resorts on the beach, while interventions for the supply of water and food to the devastated islands multiply. Communications and electricity were cut in many areas, no counting the torn roofs and overturned concrete poles.

And there are still numerous missing.

"Communications are still interrupted: only 21 out of 48 mayors have contacted us are addressed to us," said Arthur Yap, governor of Bohol.
