Almost thirty dead, missing, injured, with 100,000 people without electricity and thirty million citizens on alert for possible flooding.

It is the still provisional toll of the devastating tornadoes that are hitting the United States, especially Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee.

The fury of the wind is also accompanied by violent storms and the damage is very heavy.

Some videos circulated on social media show trees and houses torn down, appliances and furniture dragged out of the houses by the water.

According to the US Center for Storm Forecasting, at least 11 reports of tornadoes arrived in 24 hours in Alabama and Mississippi alone.
