Tehran has identified the location of Israeli "nuclear centers" and will be ready to destroy them if the Jewish state reacts to the recent Iranian attack on Israeli military facilities, said General Ahmad Haqtalab, commander of the nuclear defense and security unit of the Pasdaran . «The location of the nuclear centers of the Zionist enemy has been defined and we have at our disposal the necessary information on all targets. In response to any hypothetical action they might take, we will be ready to launch powerful missiles to destroy these targets ."
Iranian leaders and Pasdaran commanders are still in a situation of high alarm, hiding in safe houses and underground structures awaiting Tel Aviv's counterattack.
A counterattack which, according to what has emerged in the last few hours, will not be so immediate. In fact, it seems unlikely, a US source told the ABC broadcaster, that Israel will attack Iran before the Jewish Passover which begins on Monday 22 April and ends on the 29th .
Netanyahu, in fact, apparently decided to shelve plans for immediate retaliation against Tehran after speaking with Biden. «The response – a source told Israeli Kan TV – will no longer be the one expected, diplomatic sensitivity has prevailed ».
The US leadership is ready to do anything to avoid an escalation with Iran. So much so that, according to what was reported by the London-based Arab newspaper “Al-Araby Al-Jadeed”, the US would have given Netanyahu the OK for military action in Rafah (so far highly opposed, even by European leaders) in exchange of a "limited" response to Iran . This latest news has not yet been confirmed by Israel.
