Two dead and twenty wounded, some in serious condition. It is the toll of a shooting that took place around 1:00 am in the center of Oslo in three different places frequented by gays , explains the police who have already arrested a 42-year-old man.

The episode is treated as a case of " Islamist terrorism ", the arrested man is accused of murder, attempted murder and acts of terrorism.

" It looked like a war scene, with numerous people on the ground with head injuries ," said a witness. "The killer was very determined - added the woman -, especially on where to aim. When I realized it was serious I ran away. There was a man in a lake of blood lying on the ground".

The attack occurred in three nearby locations, the London Pub gay club, Herr Nilsen jazz club and a restaurant . Meeting points of the gay community targeted. Two firearms were seized from the author of the shooting, who was arrested almost immediately. "Now everything indicates that this act was committed by only one person," a police official said at a press conference.

The gay pride that was to take place this afternoon has been canceled.
