Very high tension between the United States and Russia.
It was triggered by an "accident" that took place in the sky over the Black Sea between a US drone and a Moscow military fighter.
From what we learn, a SU-27 jet would have hit the propeller of a Reaper drone, causing the latter to crash in international waters.
An episode that Washington has branded as a «dangerous and unprofessional act by the Russians» .
"There have been other similar intercepts but this one is notable because it was dangerous and unprofessional and resulted in the downing of a US aircraft, so it's unique in that regard," National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said. .
US President Joe Biden was also informed of the incident.
