Russian airstrike on Kiev with missiles and drones
Explosions heard in the Ukrainian capital. Kharkiv and Zaporizhia were also hit.

An air strike was launched on Kiev by Russian forces during the night.
Ballistic missiles and drones have been reported over the city and explosions have been heard.
Residents have been urged to seek shelter. Similar attacks are also underway in Kharkiv and Zaporizhia.
In the latter city, the death toll stands at one dead and eight injured. This was reported on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration (OVA), providing an initial assessment.
