Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu appears again in public after the coup attempt carried out last Saturday by mercenaries from the Wagner Group.

The head of Moscow's armed forces chose the front in Ukraine as the "stage" - not by chance - in fact he visited the troops engaged in the offensive against Kiev.

On the occasion Shoigu, who also appeared on TV, did not comment on the rebellion, during which Wagner's boss Prigozhin had requested a meeting with him.

On the other hand, President Vladimir Putin has not yet appeared in public, just as Prigozhin's whereabouts are currently a mystery, who according to the agreement brokered by the Belarusian leader Aleksandr Lukashenko should have found hospitality with the government in Minsk.
