Russia advances in Donetsk, USA: "Moscow military leaders talk about nuclear weapons"

The Russians resumed their advance in Donetsk , towards the cities of Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavliv.

This was announced by the General Staff of the Ukrainian armed forces: “The opponent is trying to keep the territories temporarily captured. On the last day, the Ukrainian defense repelled the attacks of the occupiers in the areas of the settlements of Makiivka, Nevske and Bilogorivka of the Lugansk region and of Verkhnokamyanske, Spirne, Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Pervomaiske, Novomykhailivka, Vodyane, Pavlivka and Prechistivka of the region of Donetsk ".

The air alert was declared this morning in seven Ukrainian regions : Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Cherkassy, Kirovograd, Mukolaiv, Kharkiv and the part of the Zaporozhzhia region controlled by Kiev.

Meanwhile, the fear of using nuclear weapons is growing. In conversations intercepted by US officials , Russian military leaders discussed the use of tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine . Conversations that alarmed the Biden administration because "they demonstrate Moscow's frustration with its failures on the battlefield."

But the Russian Defense Minister Sergej Shoigu returns the accusations to the sender: " US and EU ignore Ukraine's nuclear blackmail, we know of Kiev's attempts to create a dirty nuclear bomb and its willingness to deploy NATO nuclear weapons on its territory ”, he says.
