Pullman overturns on the highway, over ten victims

At least twelve people died this morning in a traffic accident on a highway north of Zagreb involving a Polish bus.

25 people were seriously injured , while nine other passengers reported minor injuries. It is one of the most serious road accidents in the recent history of Croatia.

The tragedy occurred at 5.40 am on the Budapest-Rijeka highway.

The bus , with about fifty passengers on board - which was headed for Medjugorje - went off the road and overturned . The causes of the accident are not yet known.
