The war in Ukraine enters a new, even more complicated phase.

North Korea has decided to send four brigades for a total of 12,000 soldiers to support Russia, Yonhap news agency reported, citing Seoul's intelligence. 1,500 have already been mobilized and are in Vladivostok.

Zelensky had already warned Europe in recent days about North Korean soldiers who were about to join Russian troops in Ukraine.

Pyongyang's decision testifies to the increasingly close ties between Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un.
