Trump announces deal with Putin: "Moscow will supply 300,000 tons of diesel fuel, which will lead to lower prices worldwide."

Donald Trump stated this on his social media account, emphasizing that "furthermore, based on the capacity of their refineries, Russia will shortly deliver an additional 3,000,000 tons of diesel fuel."

At the same time, the White House suspended sanctions on Russian diesel, the U.S. Treasury announced.

With this agreement, Trump emphasized, "diesel prices for Americans and the world will drop rapidly and at a record rate. Ensuring lower prices for Americans, especially our large farmers, ranchers, and truckers, is my top priority. This is a tremendously important announcement. It must also be made clear that Iran will not obtain nuclear weapons."
