Meloni Lands in Washington: Waiting for Meeting with Trump
In the afternoon, lunch for the two leaders, then the bilateral meeting in the Oval Office

Giorgia Meloni landed at Joint Base Andrews, near Washington. Mission to the United States for the Prime Minister, who is expected at the White House today for a meeting with Donald Trump.
The program has been set: a lunch between the two leaders is scheduled for 12.05 (18.05 Italian time) in the cabinet room (closed to the press), then an hour later the bilateral meeting in the Oval Office (with the pool of White House reporters and Italian journalists).
There is no joint press conference scheduled afterward . Trump has another engagement at 4 p.m. (10 p.m. GMT), when he will sign a series of executive orders.
