Los Angeles, 31 million in compensation for photos of the helicopter in which Kobe Bryant died
The decision of a jury: sixteen million to the widow Bryant and 15 to a man who lost his wife and daughterLos Angeles County will have to pay $ 16 million in damages to NBA star Kobe Bryant 's widow .
The super compensation was established by a jury for the raw photos taken and privately shown by some deputy sheriffs and firefighters of the remains of the helicopter that crashed with the basketball champion and 13-year-old daughter Gianna in January 2020 in Calabasas, near Los Angeles, about 40 minutes after takeoff, catching fire.
Another 15 million in damages will have to go to Chris Chester, whose wife and daughter died in the same accident along with five other people.
The verdict was reached after 4 and a half hours.
