There was a sensational protest against the invasion of Ukraine during one of the main news programs on Russian state television.

Around 9:30 pm Moscow time, a journalist from the broadcaster, Maria Ovsiannikova, interrupted the broadcast with an anti-war sign: "No to war. Stop the war. Don't believe the propaganda, they are telling you lies".

The woman, who was arrested, reappeared with a video recorded before the raid in which she attacks the regime even more severely, explaining that in Russia they have all been "zombified". "What is happening in Ukraine is a crime. And Russia is the aggressor. The responsibility for this aggression rests with one person and that person is Vladimir Putin."

"My father is Ukrainian and my mother is Russian and they have never been enemies - explains Maria Ovsiannikova -. Unfortunately I worked on Channel One in recent years and I worked on Kremlin propaganda. And now I am very ashamed", reports France Presses. "Get out on the street, don't be afraid. They can't jail us all."
