Jeff Bezos, a billionaire and the second richest man in the world after Elon Musk, is now aiming for "eternal life".

The owner of Amazon, who took a flight into orbit a few months ago, has decided to invest three billion dollars in his startup Altos Labs, which is working on an "elixir" that extends life.

An adventure that has always fascinated the scroungers of the world who, accustomed to buying more or less everything, do not intend to surrender to the inevitability of old age and death.

Hence Bezos' decision to pump money into research on "cellular reprogramming", which could extend life expectancy "by at least fifty years", beating aging and defeating deadly and degenerative diseases. The company also includes the money of the Russian billionaire Yuri Milner and the former executive of the National Cancer Institute of the United States Richard Klausner, head of the scientific committee.

Among the brains already hired are those of the biologist Juan Carlos Izpisua Belmonte and the Nobel Prize for Medicine Shinya Yamanaka.
