Mexico City hosted a historic and peaceful edition of Gay Pride 2025, which saw a record 800,000 people participate.

The capital's Department of Security confirmed the exceptional turnout, noting that the event took place without any significant incidents. The forty-seventh edition of the march brought together organizing committees, collectives, activists and citizens from all over. Participants mobilized from the Angel of Independence roundabout and other nearby points along Paseo de la Reforma, heading towards the Zócalo in the historic center of the metropolis. Despite the enormous crowd, the personnel of the Emergency Medical Team provided assistance to only 13 people, none of whom required hospitalization.

Additionally, for the fourth consecutive year, the Mexican Social Security Institute offered free rapid tests for the detection of the human immunodeficiency virus and hepatitis C. During this year's march, 1,540 tests were performed.
